A service which Rainbow is now pleased to offer other counsellors is counselling supervision. This service is provided at Rainbow for other counsellors or counselling students by Evelyn and Helen.

Counselling Supervision service at Rainbow Counselling Services, Sheffield Every practicing counsellor is required to see a supervisor on a regular basis. This offers a professional the opportunity to discuss how they are getting on in their practice, to make sure that they are practicing legally and ethically and to offer support. Supervision provides counsellors with appropriate accountability, within the boundaries of confidentiality, from a more senior practitioner with extra training to provide this service.

Supervision protects the counsellor, which in turn protects their clients, making sure that nothing important is overlooked or missed. This enables counsellors to offer the best service that they can to their clients. Rainbow Counselling Services respond to COVID-19 with a new Online Counselling Service

We are still accepting new referrals and are offering sessions by telephone or video link.

Here at Rainbow Counselling we are supporting the national effort on Coronavirus; we want to enable people during these exceptional times and we will be responsible and flexible in any way we can. As a faith-based organisation we care about people and want to help those who might be suffering as a result of these strange times we are living in.

We would also like very much to support local NHS staff, who may be dealing with challenging situations alongside managing their personal anxieties about the current situation.

Rainbow Counselling's website gets some TLC Rainbow Counselling has recently partnered with Andy and Anna from Kingdom Creative Media UK, to give our website a boost and some TLC. They each have a heart for the services that Rainbow Counselling provides and Anna has worked as a counsellor with Rainbow in the past.

We wanted to make sure we keep up with the latest technology, which seems to be evolving quicker than ever, to ensure that the site remains a useful resource. Our aim was to present our services in a clear and concise way, which would help visitors and also enable them to easily contact us.
