Counsellor Profile: Student – Luke Bunting

Personal Introduction

Hello, I’m Luke. I’m married to Liz. I was born, raised and currently live in Chesterfield. My faith is a central part of my life.

My hobbies are playing sports (especially golf), coffee, listening to jazz music and walking my Border Collie, Rosie, on the nature trails around our house.

You may be seeking counselling for a number of reasons. You may have experienced a life changing event you need to process; you may be experiencing emotions without understanding why, or you may be experiencing a lack of meaning and direction. This can all affect your health, your relationships, and your day-to-day life.

As your counsellor, I will be dedicated about helping you find a way to navigate these feelings and get to the core of these challenges you are facing. I will provide a space where you can be fully yourself that is free of judgement, safe, confidential, and devoted to your wellbeing.

About Me

I currently work from a humanistic approach to counselling as it shares my beliefs in helping people to live a full life. This approach gives people choices, allows them to explore how to express themselves and grow emotionally and focusses on relationships as the driver for therapeutic change.

I enjoy aspects of other approaches and hope to use a more integrative approach over time.

I am very excited to be starting my client work with Rainbow and I want hope to get as much experience as possible working with different types of people and using different methods as possible.
